The quiet life is something I tend to embrace these days....when I can of course!! Last night however we decided to invite our neighbours round for a drink in the evening sunshine.
We drank copious amounts of wine and lager....well some did! and much talking and laughter followed. Looking at our friends this morning they looked rather hung over....we on the other hand feel quite refreshed!!!
It's strange isn't it how alcohol affects people, our friends are seasoned drinkers....we on the other hand drink very little yet they were the ones who looked very rough this morning.
I knew Ray was getting concerned when cheese sandwiches appeared late into the night!!!!.....I on the other hand find it fascinating watching and listening to people as they slide into a semicomatose state!!
Oh well it was a different kind of night!!
